theHIVE consists of 4 subclusters (E, B, G, & DL) containing
332 processors:

three Foundry Network Switches with 72 fast ethernet ports and 8
gigabit ports each.

Four gigabit ethernet ports are trunked together to connect the three
switches together.

HIVE cluster, now consists of:

2 Dual Pentium Pro host nodes

66 Dual Pentium Pro PCs (132 processors)

a 72-port Foundry Networks fast ethernet switch

28 Gbytes of RAM

900 GBytes of Disk

the E cluster based on the CESDIS Beowulf Mass Storage System, now
consists of:

64 Dual Pentium Pro PCs (128 processors)

a 72-port Foundry Networks fast ethernet switch

the G cluster based commercial Gateway 2000 PCs consists of:

the DL cluster based commercial Dell PCs consists of:
